WHY TEST
Why test your well water
ANNUAL WATER TESTING
Well water testing and treatment
We recommend that well owners have their water tested annually to check the quality of the water used by their family, animals or customers.
Groundwater conditions can change over time. Minerals and contaminants can affect water quality even when the water looks clear, and some can also be hard on pumps and other equipment.
Testing gives you information to work from. We'll review your results with you, explain what they mean and discuss treatment options if your water needs them.

WHEN TO TEST
When to test your water
- When a new well is drilled
- Once a year on an existing well
- When the taste, smell or color of your water changes
